Does On Tap Trailer Bars supply alcohol?

No, our trailer bars are hired out as dry hire with no alcohol included. If your event is not at a private residence or venue, you are responsible for all appropriate permits and licenses. As we do not carry a liquor license, we cannot purchase alcohol for you directly, however we can help organise kegs and drinks – even picking them up and returning them to the supplier after the event.

What’s included when I hire a bar?

We come to your event, setup and everything is ready to go. On Tap Trailer Bars have multiple different features. There are 4 taps with instant chilling systems to be used with kegs. A 480L island bench full of ice in the centre of the trailer to keep all your extra drinks icy cold. There are covers that can be used on the icewell as additional bench space inside the trailer if required for cocktail making. Storage is available, as well as a hand basin.

On the outside of the trailer, there are options to have it completely as a servery bar, or add bar stools that attach to the trailer. 8 stools in total are available and the covers can be in choice of colour.

You have the option to leave the under area of the bar as black, or we can get this print wrapped by our trusted supplier to your designed theme/logo/pictures.

Adding an extra wow factor, LED screens are available for the bar, whilst bluetooth speakers and lighting overhead enhance the bar for your enjoyment.

We then allow you to enjoy the event and return later to take the trailer away.

What LED screens are available and how can I use them?

The added features of our trailer bars allow the under area of the bar to have LED screens on display. There are 2 screens are each side and 1 at the front of the trailer. An inbuilt media centre allows multiple setups to be used for the screens, with USB, HDMI and antenna points. Images, slideshows, videos or sports can be shown on the screens. The screens can be individually showing media, or link multiple screens to display the same image. We assist with any setup and perform dry runs with your media prior to the event to ensure this runs smoothly on the day.

The trailer is also equipped with antennas to enable viewing of free to air TV on the screens (subject to reception capabilities).

You also have the option of 2 x outdoor screens on each back pole of the bar. These screens make it perfect to show the game or highlight your desired media.

Question 4

Can the bars be used for anything else?

YES! Use the taps for soft drinks, water, or any drink that is available in a keg.

Sales merchandise can easily be served from the trailer – using the ice well as storage space and use the TV’s to advertise your product and pricing. Let your imagination run wild!

Question 5

Do you supply staff?

Accepted Answer

The bars can be hired for use of your own staff or we can supply RSA qualified staff if required. If providing your own staff, we will ensure they are familiar with all the features of the bar at the setup.

What venues do we service?

Accepted Answer

Anywhere we can drive a trailer to! The trailer is 2.7m wide, 3.4m long and 2.8m high. We require clear access and reversing capabilities. If you are unsure of the site access, please liaise with us to ensure there are no issues upon arrival.  
 
It is the responsibility of the person hiring On Tap Trailer Bars to ensure rules and regulations around the service of alcohol are met, and any permits required are obtained.

Question 7

How long is the hire period?

The minimum hire period is 4 hours. Prices are then per hour after this time. For overnight functions, we require security to be onsite. Please see our ‘Pricing’ page for further information.

Question 8

Is power supply required?

Accepted Answer

In order to display the screens and lighting, 240V power is required. We supply 30m and 50m extension leads to plug into your power supply. However, if your event is during the day and you choose not to use the screens or lighting, the taps do not require power (the hand basin would not be available for use without power however).

Question 9

Who supplies the cups?

Accepted Answer

We can supply biodegradable plastic cups for your event. Please let us know your requests in your enquiry. Unfortunately we do not supply glassware. Feel free to contact us for further information.

Are you insured?

Yes. On Tap Trailer Bars has public liability insurance.
